Derrick Rose Buys 3,102 sqft Unit at Trump Tower

This month Donald Trump graced us with his presence in Toronto and officially opened theTrump International Tower and Hotel Toronto; so it’s only fitting that I include his name on my celebrity blog this week.

Before I start, let me introduce myself…….oh who am I kidding, I am your friendly neighbourhood CELEBRITY STALKER, you surely know me already. This week, I have news from the sporting world where Chicago Bull’s Derrick Rose has just purchased a 84th floor condo unit at Trump Tower Chicago.

The unit features a clear downtown view, Brazilian walnut hardwood floors, three bedrooms, four bathrooms, a den and a large kitchen. The size of the unit is 3,102 sqft (yes that’s about 4 times the size of an average condo in Toronto).

So how much did Mr. Rose cough up here? he took out a $1.7 million mortgage and paid a cool $1 million downpayment. Yes, a million dollars. He can certainly afford it with his $100 million contract with the basketball team and $260 million contract with the good folks over at Adidas. I am not sure about you, but my head’s spinning.
